What are the requirements for renting a car at Rea Mobility?
You must be 25 years old and have all the necessary documents in force: driver’s license and identity card or passport. Photocopies or photographs from a telephone are not accepted. A credit card is required for basic insurance; debit cards will not be accepted. If the requirements are not met, the company will cancel the booking without a refund.
Can I pick up the car at the airport without a reservation?
The vehicle cannot be collected from the airport without a prior reservation, only at our offices in Palma and always according to the availability of our fleet. If you wish to rent directly at our offices in Palma without prior reservation, please call our customer service telephone number to check availability: (+34) 651 723 263.
Can I pay in cash or by credit card?
When you pick up your vehicle during customer service hours you can pay in cash or by debit or credit card. You can book through our booking engine and you will get an automatic prepaid discount. You must have a credit card to rent. Without a credit card, the rental will not be made.
Is a credit card required?
A credit card is required for both basic and all-risk bookings, even if there is no deposit, the credit card serves as a guarantee. Without a credit card, the rental will not be made
How old do I have to be to rent a car with Rea Mobility?
The driver must be 25 years old and have held a driving licence for 6 years. All valid documentation must be presented with a credit card, if the card is not in your name, the person on the credit card must be present.
Is the second driver included?
Yes, a second driver with a minimum age of 25 years and 6 years of driving licence is included.
Do you offer comprehensive insurance without deposit?
We have this option from the booking engine ‘comfort plus’ where you can choose car rental without deposit and it will be mandatory to present the bank credit card which serves as a guarantee in case the terms and conditions are not met.
What is included in the Comfort Plus all-risk insurance?
The all risk insurance ‘confort plus’ covers the damages caused to the vehicle and in case of an accident the user must present the friendly report within 48 hours after this time the damages will not be covered and the damages caused to the vehicle will be charged.
No insurance policy covers damage caused to the vehicle to third parties due to negligence, driving under the influence of alcohol or any drug and/or reckless driving. Damage caused by driving on poorly paved roads. Refuelling with incorrect fuel. Lost or broken keys. Damage caused to locks or the interior of the vehicle. Burnt seats. Damage to the underside of the car. Damage due to misuse of the clutch. Damage, loss or theft of the vehicle’s own accessories (such as antenna, jack, windscreen wipers, fuel filler cap, trays, triangles, waistcoats, child seats).
What is the fuel policy?
It is delivered at a certain level and you must return the vehicle at the same level as we have delivered it to you.
How much is the franchise?
The excess is €1000 and is assessed on the basis of the damage caused, for example, if the damage is worth €90, the user will only pay the amount of €90, if the damage exceeds €1000, only up to €1000 will be paid.
